I am halfway through my first term with Vicki and 4 other lovely people learning to sew.
This was recommended to me from a work friend, I hadn’t even taken my machine out of the box before my first class, Vicki is so good at teaching you the basics about your own machine, the pattern you choose to make etc. and because everyone picks their own pattern to make you get to learn about steps that aren’t in your own pattern (and see a few beautiful things being made)
I highly recommend a term with Vicki even if you just want the goal of being able to repair your own clothing as opposed to making something from scratch, you will definitely know how by the end of the term.

I'm really enjoying sewing classes with Vicki. I haven't sewn clothes for myself for nearly 30 years but it's all coming back to me with Vicki's guidance and her expert tips to get my garments finished in a professional manner.
